The location is ideal, just a short walk to the ferry and local markets. The staff were attentive, our breakfast buffet was well-stocked even towards the end of service.

the rooms were good sized with en-suite bathrooms, the staff were very knowledgeable and flexible. perfect very central location right by the zanzibar fast ferries and the kilimanjaro express ticket office and bus stop.

The breakfasts except for Masala tea which was good. Very close to a bus station, particularly good and perfect location.

So, I crashed at Rainbow for a night and it was super close to the ferry terminal. Beds comfy and breakfast was surprisingly decent with eggs made to order. Just don’t expect luxury. It’s more of a budget stopover vibe.

My standard room had modern conveniences, including a safe box, multi-channel TV and a seating area...

Location just next door to the port and city centre and super market and many restaurant and more activities, near ferry port for Zanzibar and the ferry terminal which goes to Zanzibar. Nice beds and climate control, an individual safe and multi-channel TV.

The location is a major convenience, just a short walk to the ferry terminal, perfect for travelers heading out. The air conditioning worked well once I was moved to a different room.

Unfortunately, the initial room I was given had a distinct unpleasant odor and the shower hadn't seen much love-it was rather grimy with brown stains. The bed wasn't exactly plush either. More like a slab of concrete that kept me awake at night, and I had to ask for cleaner sheets as the original ones were questionable at best. On top of that, no mosquito netting made me an easy target for the local bugs, resulting in a few itchy wake-up calls. I hoped for better, but it fell short.

The warm hospitality from the staff made my stay enjoyable, with attentive service that ensured everything was to my liking.

The air conditioning in my room had a few hiccups initially, requiring some adjustments before it worked effectively.

My beautiful room was spick and span-comfy bed, lekker shower with hot water and cold, all that jazz. Plus, the chommies at the reception were super helpful when I needed tips for local eats. Buying brekkie was easy, sweet just around the corner.

The brekkie buffet was just ok, nothing to write home about.

The room I received had a noticeable odor, and the air conditioning didn't function properly until I was moved to a different room. Breakfast options were limited, with a repetitive menu , leading to less variety than I'd hoped for.
